Streetnik Alert!!! The Shuffle Demons are 25!
Yes, 2009 was the 25th Anniversary of the emergence of this cosmic musical force and we celebrated in style with the Shuffle Demons 25th Anniversary Tour playing Jazz Festivals and Clubs across Canada this past summer and had a blast!
Thanks also to everyone who came out to Nathan Phillips Square to help us in our attempt to break the Guinness World Record again for most saxophonists playing a song! O Canada never sounded better. You guys were amazing! Although we weren't able to top the 918 sax players who played in Taiwan in 2008, we had a great crowd of sax players, young and old, pro and amateur, all having lots of fun on Canada Day.
